No! You can buy clean energy from other community members even without solar of your own. Powertracer is for everyone — both buyers and sellers.

A smart meter measures your energy usage in 30-minute intervals, which is required for Powertracer's peer-to-peer trading. Most modern homes already have one. If you don't, Energy Locals can arrange installation for a one-off fee.

Powertracer automatically matches buyers' consumption with sellers' solar solar export generation, many to many, every 30 minutes. If your trading partners have export or consumption available at the same time you have consumption or export, there will be a match. More trading partners means more matched energy. Powertracer automatically calculates the difference between your trade prices and your retailer default prices for all matched energy in a month, and you'll see this benefit as a single line item on your Energy Locals bill each month.

Yes! You set and agree your buy and sell prices with your trading partners. You can even have different prices at different times of the day if you need. Powertracer Match helps find you partners where your prices are compatible.

Unmatched solar is automatically sold at Energy Locals' standard feed-in tariff. You're never left without a buyer — you just get the retail rate as a default. Similarly, if there is no trading partner solar export available when you're using energy, you'll just pay your standard retailer rate.

No. Powertracer Match is an independent discovery layer for the Powertracer platform. Powertracer is operated by Enosi and retailed by Energy Locals. We simply help users find each other before they trade.

Powertracer enables trading, but finding partners is hard. Powertracer Match helps you:

• Set your ideal prices and volume for each time block
• Connect with trusted people in your network
• Maximize your solar self-consumption and savings

Powertracer Match users enter their Powertracer email address. When matched with another user, you can see their Powertracer email and initiate P2P trades on the actual Powertracer platform. Powertracer Match handles discovery; Powertracer handles trading.
